One of the main problems of application of composite materials in Russia is the absence of competent and active dialogue between manufacturers and consumers of modern materials. There will be presented the latest achievements of the leading enterprises of composite industry for aircraft industry in the context of the conference.
The reports of the leading domestic and foreign companies working for the needs of the aircraft industry will be heard on the conference.

CONFERENCE RESULTS
On August 19, 2011 the Union of Composite Manufacturers conducted the 2nd conference “Composite materials in civil and military aircraft industry” with the assistance of the Aviation Manufacturers Union in the frames of the «International aviation and space saloon» (MAKS – 2011).
The conference program covered almost all questions of composite products manufacturing beginning with raw materials news and finishing with the standardization questions.
The most interesting report about technologies of engineering and analysis of composite materials and construction was represented by Andrey Podshivalov, the leading specialist of engineering analysis department of “Delcham Ural” company acting as the conference sponsor.
The question of choosing the equipment and technologies for products manufacturing from composites were touched on in the reports of the representatives of such companies as «STEVIK SAS», «Airtech», «Carbon Studio», CJSC «Techno-Express», «MIKROSAM», «LIBA Maschinenfabrik GmbH».
New epoxy resins for structural aviation composites manufacturing were represented by the general director of CJSC «ESPC Epital», Tatyana Latitsckaya.
The head of the Japan company «Teijin» representation, Mikhail Frolov told about unique carbon materials and prepregs on their base.
The conference program was finished by the expert of standardization of FSUE “SRISU”, Denis Zabulonov who indicated the main problems of standardization in the aviation industry
